Those were great Marianne! I love it when she gets in the groove with her music and those hands start moving. Priceless!

2010 Adoption Timeline

3/25 - inquired about Darya after seeing she lost her family, got a response from Andrea late that night

3/30 - after much prayer, counsel, and consideration we decided to commit to Darya!

3/31 - sent initial paperwork and fees/donations to RR

4/10 - sent initial paperwork to facilitator in Darya's country

4/21 - sent I600A application and paperwork to USCIS (minus home study which will be sent as soon as we receive it)

4/26 - physicals

4/26 - home study visit

4/28 - went for blood work to complete physicals

May - waiting for home study to be written up

6/7 - got 16 pages notarized for our dossier

6/9 - Darya's 2nd birthday, but last without a family!

6/30 - got our finger print appointments in the mail!

7/2 - finger prints DONE!

7/3 - got state police clearances

7/12 - I-171H aka Golden Ticket arrived!

7/14 - Dossier SENT!

7/16 - Dossier arrived at facilitator's office

8/5 - Dossier SUBMITTED to the SDA!

8/17 - Got our SDA appointment for September 7!

9/4 - Left on airplane

9/7 - SDA appointment

9/8 - picked up SDA referral

9/9- Met Darya!!

9/22 - Had court and Darya is officially our daughter!

10/5 - GOTCHA DAY!

10/8 - Left Ukraine for Home Sweet Home!!!
